The highlight of any stroll on the Kalvarienberg hill in Feldbach is not only an impressive view of the Raab valley over to Riegersburg, but also a visit to the Obstbau Christandl farm shop. You can get pretty much any fruitrelated product here, from spirits to jam – and it’s worth looking round our show garden, too.
Many myths are woven about this impressive castle in north Feldbach, which was once one of the greatest strongholds in the western world. These days you can lay siege to it with your whole family – and enjoy three museums, legendary staterooms, raptor displays and magnificent views.
Quaint buildings and four steeples, all perched on the top of a gentle hill in the middle of the Vulkanland: Straden, a place of pilgrimage, is idyllically situated, looking out over the region. And the town is not only picturesque: it also sets great store by its traditions.
